Today is the day that the I've Come So Far blog will dive into history. I'm rededicating the blog to the young leaders, entrepreneurs, and local stars that are striving to make a better tomorrow for their communities and people in general. Let's begin to shine a positive light on Young America.

What's going on?

Things are changing all round us. In the past two months, more people have pasted away than I can ever recall. In addition to the countless random occurances that continue to happen daily around the world, Hollywood alone has lost Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Steve McNair, Billy Mayes, and Walter Cronkite in the past three weeks. The people that we once looked to for insight, joy, and laughter are slowly approaching their final curtain call. What happens when our heros become human suddenly and disappear in the blink of an eye? Who well be the next legendary figure to influence the world in more ways than one? You decide...

Worst Tribute Show Ever Created by Man Award goes to...

I cannot believe that B.E.T. decided to honor Michael Jackson's life and legacy in such a fashion. Michael would have never been apart of anything so unorganized. Even though the news of Michael Jackson's death came suddenly, I personally feel that he should have been honored throughout the show by the people who were receiving awards followed by a moment of silence at the end of the program. Michael Jackson's impact on music and the world was far greater than what was displayed on the award show.
